fairievomit is artwork created by me, 20 yr old Leah Bennett in my little bedroom in Massachusetts. I created fairievomit as an outlet for my emotions when i was 16, it's a way for me to share my one of a kind artwork, clothing reworks, and prints. My work explores my struggles with mental health, recovery, and being queer. I enjoy exploring these themes using song lyrics, film, and original poetry. I've loved creating artwork for as long as I can remember, I've always been the creative one in my family but I really started finding my style when I was 15 and spent time in a hospital. There I was lucky enough to have access to art therapy which introduced me to collaging. I found my passion in this, in using found items and old photographs to tell a story. Ever since then I've been creating non-stop and started selling artwork when I was 17. If you made it this far thank you for reading!!!
